Boston's newest Apple Store will land in Back Bay - right behind Tech Superpowers! The biggest in New England, this Apple Store will be 4 stories of the latest Mac Products, including the usual Apple Store features, like the Genius Bar and demo theatre.
A multi-million dollar project, and an architectural landmark similar in design to the now-famous Times Square Store, the store will open sometime early 2008. With our proximity to the Apple Store, the block of Boylston and Newbury Streets between Fairfield and Gloucester Streets will become Boston's "Apple Block" - the complete resource for Apple Macintosh users throughout the Boston area.
On one side of the block, the Apple Store will provide consumers instant gratification for those with the time to spend at the mall: iPods of every size and shape, dozens of standard Apple products in stock at retail prices, and the famous Genius Bar, where you can wait in line to get answers to your Mac problems.
On the other side, Tech Superpowers will do everything for the professional that the Apple Store can't. We'll customize Macs with extra RAM, faster hard drives, and third party peripherals - delivered to your door for better prices. Our repair services are convenient for those in a rush: Drop off your machine for service and we'll repair it and call you when it's ready - no waiting around. And as always, our techies, knowledgeable about all things Mac (and non-Mac, too), can come onsite and troubleshoot all things related to your Mac, not just the Apple software on it. (The Apple Store doesn't support third party software nor do they come onsite.)
We at TSP are looking forward to this new addition to the Back Bay neighborhood. While we know it will mean big changes for us, change is nothing new for a company that has spent the last 16 years supporting the Mac users of Boston, through Apple's continual evolution. We hope that this just means more Mac users and more business for both Apple and us!
You can see the real-time progress on the Apple Store- take a look at our webcam. This site shows you the minute by minute updates of the demolition and construction, and the archived Quicktime movies show time-lapse of each day of progress. And see the sidebar to find out how we created this webcam - another example of our "Technology for Genius."
